MIGRAIN

This is a neurological disorder that usually begins near middle age and is more common in women than in men. It tends to occur in older individuals or those around the age of fifty. After the age of fifty, this disease generally subsides.

This condition is closely related to menopause, as it is not observed in women after menopause. In this disease, severe pain occurs on one side of the head, sometimes on the right or left, and occasionally all over the head. In the case of pain throughout the head, the sensation of pain on one side is relatively more intense. Nausea and extreme sensitivity to light and sound accompany the pain. The intensity of the pain starts to increase with the rising sun and decreases with the setting sun. The pain usually subsides with the sunset, and the patient feels completely healthy upon awakening.

Before the onset of pain, there is generally weakness and lethargy. Bright spots appear before the eyes. The pain starts slowly on one side of the forehead and gradually intensifies. The nerves of the forehead, eyebrows, and the back part of the eye become pulsatile. Intolerance to sound and light persists, and symptoms such as a runny nose and sinusitis continue. The severity of the symptoms increases with the intensity of the pain in this condition. If the disease is chronic, it can lead to visual impairment, and there is a possibility of blindness due to prolonged suffering.

This type of pain usually occurs on one side of the head and sometimes can affect the entire head. Bending the head is felt as warmth, and the color of the face fades. The body sweats, and there may be nausea when the disease is severe. Usually, a runny nose and severity last for two to three hours, and sometimes it can last for two to three days. However, generally, with the sunset, the pain disappears, and the patient falls asleep, feeling completely healthy upon awakening.

In today's era, the use of aloe vera as a remedy for this type of pain has become extraordinary. When an ordinary person experiences a headache, they immediately use a painkiller pill and become busy with their daily life. Similarly, aloe vera treatment also performs the same function, overlooking the cause of the disease. A pain relief pill is given to reduce pain, but due to the side effects of the medicine, instead of reducing pain, acidity occurs, making the condition worse. In the ancient times, various attempts have been made to relieve this type of pain. Some drop black pepper in the nose, some apply a jasmine paste on the forehead, etc. The purpose of all these efforts is somehow or the other to reach the Greek method of treatment. However, if it is treated with expertise, it is quickly relieved. In our opinion, when a patient comes with a migraine, we first identify the cause of it and then start treatment only after finding out the cause. If the cause is due to the predominance of humors, it is treated by bringing it into its natural state, and if there is moisture in the brain, it is removed by using internal medicines. If there is a problem during menstruation or weakness in the uterus, it is treated, eliminating the obstruction of the disease
